Jumeirah Emirates Towers is currently looking for an experienced and talented Senior Chef de Cuisine, responsible of leading the entire main kitchen and banquet operations. The right candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills; a clear focused mind, attention to detail, passion for product research and strong leadership abilities are a must for this role. Must be able to multi-task and plan effectively, support and contribute to the mission and overall success of the Hotel by accomplishing performance departmental objectives.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Banquet CDC role in a luxury 5 star establishment
  • Preferable Middle Eastern experience
  • Asia experience will be a plus
  • Outside catering experience preferred
  • Participation and experience in culinary competitions
  • Knowledgeable in international cuisines to including Asian, Arabic, German, French and Italian
  • Proficient English with clear communication skills
  • Ability to lead multicultural team with strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP as well as general H&S in the workplace
  • Act as senior leadership by developing and assuming key management responsibilities
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization and relationship skills
  • Experience with training, basic financial management and customer service
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge, Adaco and Microsoft Office
  • Managing food and labour cost in order to maximize profitability
